Welcome to the ABN Rock Update for the week of November 7th, 2008. This week we have four bands that completely rock hard and heavy to share that I have personally aero-certified, and for you first time viewers and listeners I am Aero and this is Tannrr.

Hello all you Rockers,

So I would like to call this shows format: “Lifetimes, Beauty, Chaos and Anger”.

Let’s get this party started with the Showcase band and a brief description.

-Female pioneers filled with fresh jet fuel and a 30 year spirit of magical relations and hardships in their career; I bring to you:

1. Girlschool

Type of Music – Rock / Metal / Punk

Coming to you out of: London

Girlschool: spawned in 1977 and with two original members still in the line-up are now celebrating 30 years in paying tribute with a new hot CD. A history of playing with many greats such as: “Motorhead”, “Iron Maiden”, and “Scorpions” to name just a few. These girls never gained major commercial success in the US with being the longest running all female rock band in the world. For those that have missed this arena act, it’s now time to listen with some big recognizable names appearing on this awesome CD that has something for all ages to rock to this national treasure.

My favorite songs are:”I Spy” and “Don’t talk to me””

2. Senseless Beauty

Coming to you out of: Mason City, Iowa United States

Senseless Beauty: is a melodic hardcore 5 piece act that’s broken the mold most bands adhere to in the current hardcore scene with their patience and devotion of hard work since 2005. Investing their own blood, sweat, and cash to share their amazing metalcore and highly energized songs to screamo rockers. They inject hope in each of their songs and are just on the verge of hitting the national scene to prove this in their brutal stylized shows.

My favorite songs are:”Lorelai lured the Sailors” and “Tried and True”

- This act is brutal and soothing, with their hypnotic sound and brilliant mixture of impressive songs; I bring to you this week’s Shout-out for the show:

3. Chaos Divine

Type of Music – Metal / Death Metal / Progressive

Coming to you out of: Perth, Western Australia

Chaos Divine: emerged from the ashes of”Devoid”, they’re a unique band that mixes melodies and riffs that will slam you with a jack-hammer of rhythms knowing how to push the limits seamlessly. In just over 2 years of forming they have played alongside international acts such as: “Slayer”, “Fear Factory”, and “Devil Driver” to name a few. David’s vocals are amazing and the bands sic and solid.

4. Firewind

Coming to you out of: Greece

Firewind: spawned just over 10 years back and have made some amazing accomplishments. They now have a solid line-up and are very impressive. They have toured globally alongside bands such as:”Dragonforce”, “All that Remains” and “Sonata Arctica” just to name a few. Earning an excellent reputation with songs combined of heavy riffs and classic metal structure of immense talent with 8 outstanding CD’s now earning them a world-wide profile and large fan base. These guys are the true thing with nothing but greatness to come for this melodic metal powerhouse.

My favorite songs are: Breaking the Silence” and “Falling to Pieces”

Current Hot CD is: “The Premonition” and “Live Premonition” DVD or 2 CD Set and Deluxe Version out November 10^th, 2008 which is a must have for any metal head.
