ABN Rock Update 10-10-2008 Weekly Blog

Hello all you Rockers,

Welcome to the ABN Rock Update for the week of October ^10th, 2008. This week we have 4 bands that are wild, and crazy to share that I have personally aero-certified, and for you first time viewers and listeners I am Aero and this is Tannrr.

So I would like to call this shows format: “Animated, Sleazy, and Creepy Naked Oranges”

Let’s get this party started with the Showcase band and a brief description.

-This band is lives and bleeds of death metal and fully promotes piracy, WTF. I bring to you:

1. Synapse Defect

Type of Music – Death Meal / Grindcore / Experimental

Coming to you out of: Atlanta, Georgia United States

Synapse Defect: brings us nine tracks of music that sounds like: Three thirteen-ton harmonized jack hammers in a vat of butane saturated sulfur patches, and then some.”I pirated that from there MySpace page because it sounded so cool”. Honestly, your either going to love this wicked band or hate them. I find their songs, “Tetanus” and Decimal Two” to prove they are brutally good. Maximus’s grinding deathcore grunts, and the rest of the band unleashing pure hell in full course is enough to grab you by the testicles or “what is”, they have a large and devoted fanbase that is craving their brutal hardcore style.

2. Miss Crazy

Coming to you out of: San Jose California United States

Miss Crazy: are a primetime sleaze act and with their smashing debut cd,”Can’t get enough” and now the Current Hot CD: “II” or “Deuce” all packed with solid one by one hits. This act is as sleazy as, say, “Motley Crue, and as raw as “Faster Pussy Cat” and even “Pretty Boy Floyd”.

If you’re ready for some raspy vocals, Markus Allen Christopher will definitely deliver them with each note. Many thoughts of suicide linger, with today’s high price of oil and fortune’s lost, STOP NOW!, put down that razor blade or gun and spare your life, there is something to live for now, grab a cold one and crank it up these guys will put you back into the grind, point blank!

Markus is also involved with a new upcoming band called “Freekshow”.

Virginia Creeper: Formed is 2000, as a self promoted act. With remaking the classic Motley Crue song “Shout at the devil” and with the new promised remake of the INXS “The Devil Inside”, you wouldn’t think of this act as a Christian Metal band. Preaching the word in its finest and doing one hell of a fine job while doing it. Be ready to be assaulted rockers.

Current Hot CD is: “Who’s Your God” with “The Unveiling” hitting the scene on October 10^th, 2008.

4. The Sunkissed Barrelibisca

Type of Music - Experimental / Progressive / Rock

Coming to you out of: Shreveport, Louisiana United States

Sunkissed Barrelibisca: is whatever you would like them to be, some rock, metal, even some reggae and funk, whatever else, these guys are “the Bisca”. They are a self produced, recorded, you name it. And they are doing it right with songs like, ”Malice beyond Reason”, “C Sharp Minor” and my personal favorite, ”Malerin Rouge”. They have shared the stage with “Soulfly”, “Fly” and several other large acts.

Current Hot CD is: “All of this” and I have heard about a second CD coming called, “In One” that is going to be bad ass as well.
